Ema enjoyed playing the Ball and Spoon race with her friends in Rm 24 for Kiwisport in Term 3!

My trip to Stardome!

Ema enjoyed travelling by bus to Cornwall Park in Greenlane to visit the observatory. She learnt about how the sun and moon rotate around the earth. She also had fun doing new science activities. What did you like best?

Ema received the Duffy certifcate at Assembly for finding words to write a sentence independently. Well done from Mrs Carter.

Water safety in Term 1.

Ema has enjoyed learning how to be safe in the water at the Glen Innes pools. She is practising how to use her rocket ship arms. She is also learning how to float on her front and back.

PES picnic!

On Friday 26th February we enjoyed a short walk down to the reserve and Pt England beach. Ema had a swim in the sea with Mrs Carter, played on the playground with her friends and also made sandcastles! We were so lucky with the weather too.
